AAP will be routed, we will win 220+ seats, says Manoj Tiwari

The Rajouri Garden by-poll, voting for which was held on Sunday, could be an indication of the BJP’s continuing momentum. If the Rajouri Garden voters can give a sense of the Delhi electorate, then the faith of the voters is still in Prime Minister Narendra Modi

“This result shows the mood of the people. Under the principles of Modiji we will change the structure of Delhi and deliver” said Manoj Tiwari, Delhi BJP President.

What is also apparent is that voters are losing faith in the Delhi’s ruling party, Aam Aadmi Party.

AAP’s convener Kejriwal’s focus on elections in other states has induced a feeling of neglect in Delhi.

The fact that the Rajouri Garden seat fell vacant after the AAP legislator from the constituency resigned to contest against Siromani Akali Dal stalwart Parkash Badal in Punjab also seems not to have gone down well with the electorate.

AAP’s rout in Punjab as well as allegations of the party misusing public money may have been the last nail in the party’s coffin.

“This victory exposes the false promises made by Aam Aadmi Party and failure to fulfill it. Results in Punjab and now this by-poll should embarrass the party and get their act right” said Tiwari

As much as Bhartiya Janta Party is in celebratory mood, it is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the trust remains intact.

When India Today asked Delhi’s BJP President about the MCD polls, he said “I am confident we will get 220 plus out of 272 wards in the capital.”
